Request a School Visit

Introducing your students to the newspaper is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Three simple steps and we will send a representative to your classroom, armed with newspapers and a special activity to do with your students. We make it fun for them and easy for you to bring real-world learning to your classroom.

Step 1. Call, fax or e-mail your request for a classroom visit.

bulletFax: (603) 228-5868

Step 2. Tell us the dates and times that work best for you.

Step 3. Be sure to indicate if there is a specific subject area you wish to address. If not, the NIE activity will be a newspaper scavenger hunt and another activity, if time permits.

That's all you do. Step 4 is our confirmation to you. Your request will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.

Schedule a Tour

Follow a newspaper from start to finish for a new perspective on everything that's involved in delivering that morning newspaper to your classroom or home. Learn how reporters get their stories and how photographers take memorable shots, watch as pages are laid out, visit the pressroom and see where papers are bundled for delivery.

Tours of the Concord Monitor building are available Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Reservations are required.

Tours last about one hour. Please limit groups to 18 or fewer. To make reservations, contact:
